Ingredients
- 1 spaghetti squash
- 500g ground beef
- marinara
- parmesan
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- fresh herbs to finish
Instructions
- 1Prepare Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Brush the inside lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- 2Roast the Squash Place the squash cut-side down on a baking sheet. Roast for 35–45 minutes, until the flesh is tender. Let it cool slightly, then scrape with a fork to create spaghetti-like strands.
- 3Make the Bolognese While the squash cooks, brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add tomato sauce, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4Combine & Serve Divide the spaghetti squash between bowls and top with the Bolognese sauce. Add Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.
